Although the plot and characters in the story are strong, the screenplay is tedious and excessively slow. Both the writing and the direction fall short of the original. Chiranjeevi is a good fit for the part; while many of the sequences he appears in are well-performed, some of them are not.No resemble to Mohanlal.
Sathya Dev performed admirably as well, but not quite as well as Vivek Oberoi. Nothing new was done by Nayanthara; she simply repeated what she had been doing for years (e.g., with Tulasi, Viswasam, Jayasimha, etc.).Salman Khan is useless, or perhaps I should say that a decent role is useless for Salman. Good background score. The cinematography is excellent. The key to editing is slo-mo. Not worth going to the theatre to see it. If you haven't seen Lucifer, you should wait until OTT.
